Before joining Nicola Real Estate, Touraj worked as an appraiser on a variety of valuation assignments relating to office, retail, industrial, residential, and alternative assets. 

Touraj holds a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Finance and Real Estate, from UBC’s Sauder School of Business. He is also a retired Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute (AACI). 

Touraj currently serves on NAIOP Vancouver’s Government Relations Committee and Nicola Wealth Gives Back Charity Committee.

Touraj joined the Acquisitions team at Nicola Real Estate in 2018. In this role, he is involved in sourcing, underwriting, and coordinating due diligence on direct ownership and joint venture partnerships across all three Nicola Real Estate funds.
