He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Law and Society from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Master of Management degree from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Prior to joining Nicola Wealth, Sam gained experience through internships at a boutique commercial real estate firm in Vancouver and with the Industrial Alliance Special Markets Team.

Outside the office, Sam enjoys golfing, working out, and spending time with friends.
