Overview
Matthew is responsible for managing acquisitions for the Nicola Real Estate funds. This involves sourcing, identifying, and negotiating property acquisitions and structuring joint venture partnership opportunities, while overseeing underwriting and due diligence activities.
Matthew has extensive experience in the U.S. and Canada, having participated in excess of $5 billion in total transaction activity.
Before joining Nicola Wealth, Matthew began his career in commercial real estate brokerage, then transitioned to institutional investment and management. During this time, he gained a wealth of experience in all facets of commercial real estate investment and management, in major and secondary markets within the United States and Canada.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business.
