Matthew Craig

Matthew Craig is Director, Value Add Fund at Nicola Real Estate, with over 25 years of experience in local, national, and international real estate markets. Prior to his role at Nicola Wealth, he served as a Principal at Avison Young, a leading commercial real estate services firm. Matthew offers a unique blend of investment sales and leasing market knowledge, including experience with the development and execution of strategies for the acquisition and disposition of leased and owned properties.

Matthew's extensive experience includes the development and execution of strategies for the acquisition and disposition of leased and owned properties. He has a comprehensive understanding of real estate finance and analysis, and his work ethic, integrity, and creative problem solving set him apart. At Avison Young, Matthew was a top-performing office leasing and sales broker and led the Vancouver agency leasing group. He has completed transactions in all major markets across Canada and many U.S. cities.

Matthew graduated from Simon Fraser University with a joint major in Business Administration (concentration in Finance) and Psychology. He is a member of various industry associations, including the British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA), National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV), and Urban Development Institute (UDI).
