Overview
Jason is an Associate Portfolio Manager on the Nicola Wealth Public Assets team, where they focus on evaluating investment opportunities and managing risk within fixed income portfolios.
Jason joined the Nicola Wealth Public Assets team as an Analyst/Trader in 2020 after having spent the previous two years in a Portfolio Operations Analyst role in the firm's Fund Administration team.
In his role as Portfolio Analyst, Jason gained extensive knowledge in performance analysis, performance reporting, and financial modeling.
A graduate of Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Economics where he developed a strong knowledge of financial markets, principles, and instruments. He holds his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM ®) designation and is currently pursuing his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®).
