Jamie Duncan

Jamie Duncan has been with Nicola Wealth since its inception and has been instrumental in building the firm into what it is today. Over more than three decades of leadership, she helped guide the company’s growth from $80 million to over $16 billion in assets under management (AUM), playing a central role in developing the infrastructure and award-winning culture that underpin Nicola Wealth’s success.

As former Chief Operating Officer, Jamie oversaw the firm’s operational and financial functions through multiple phases of growth. Her deep understanding of Nicola Wealth’s core values, combined with her disciplined and forward-looking approach, helped establish a strong operational foundation and a culture of excellence that continues to shape the firm’s future.

Jamie remains actively involved with the firm as a member of the Corporate Board of Directors and as Chair of the Philanthropy Advisory Board. She is deeply passionate about philanthropy and continues to play a key role in advancing Nicola Wealth’s charitable initiatives, reinforcing a culture of giving back and long-term community impact.

Jamie holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, as well as her Master of Business Administration in Executive Management at Royal Roads University. She is a long-standing member of TEC Canada, a leadership organization for the personal and professional development of Chief Executives.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking on the North Shore trails, and traveling.
