Before joining Nicola Wealth, James gained valuable experience as an Investment Banking Analyst intern at Fort Capital Partners in Vancouver and KPMG Corporate Finance in Hong Kong. During his undergraduate studies, he was selected to manage the CAD$10 million Simon Fraser University Beedie Endowment Asset Management Fund.

James graduated from Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business with a Bachelor of Science, completing a joint major in Biochemistry and Business Administration.

As an Analyst on the Private Debt team, James focuses on assessing and analyzing potential investments while conducting thorough due diligence for co-investments, direct loans, and fund investments. He also supports the ongoing monitoring of the portfolio.
