Overview
As Chief People Officer at Nicola Wealth, Eric leads the firm’s People and Culture strategy with a focus on supporting sustainable growth, fostering employee development, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Since joining the firm in 2020, he has been a driving force behind scaling Nicola Wealth’s people strategy during a period of significant expansion, all while championing a values-based culture aligned with the firm’s long-term vision.
A strategic talent leader, Eric developed Nicola Wealth's comprehensive talent framework, implementing targeted performance management, coaching programs and a competency-based leadership approach that positions people development at the core of the firm's success.
Prior to Nicola Wealth, Eric served as Vice President of Operations at the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver, where he led finance, HR, and organizational effectiveness. His career includes leadership positions at Vancity Credit Union and Korn Ferry focusing on leadership development, strategic HR practices, and inclusive culture-building.
Eric holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and a graduate diploma in Cooperative Business Management from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University.
Committed to community and purpose, Eric serves as Chair of the Nicola Wealth Gives Back Charity Committee and has held board roles with several non-profits focused on social services, HR governance, and food security.
