Don Harrison

Don is a real estate executive with 37 years of diverse experience, including corporate acquisitions, business development and strategy, asset management, development, investments, leasing, and property management.

Prior to his retirement in 2023, Don was the Executive Vice President of Business Development & Client Services at GWL Realty Advisors, one of Canada’s largest real estate advisory firms. He was responsible for client management, research services and strategy, and business development initiatives, which included taking a leadership role in expanding the company’s capabilities into the U.S. market. In addition, Don was a member of GWL Realty Advisors' Executive, Investment, and Human Resources Committees, as well as the Executive Committee of Everwest Real Estate Investors, its wholly-owned U.S. real estate subsidiary. Prior roles in the company included Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Vice President of Asset Management & Development.

As an active volunteer in the community, Don is a Past President of NAIOP Vancouver and a Corporate NAIOP Board Member. He has also been a member of the BOMA Canada National Advisory Council, the Canuck Place Advisory Council, and the Student Mentorship Program at his alma mater, Carleton University.
