Darwin Schandor is Interim Head of Private Wealth at Nicola Wealth. Since joining, he has quickly built trusted relationships across the organization, bringing deep industry expertise and proven leadership to the role.

Darwin works closely with an experienced and accomplished senior leadership team, driving strategy and execution while supporting advisors, clients, and the firm’s continued growth.

He brings extensive leadership experience across wealth management, with a proven track record in strategy, growth, advisor recruitment, and business development. Prior to joining Nicola Wealth, Darwin held senior leadership roles including President of Moneta Securities, a Canadian boutique investment banking firm, Regional President, British Columbia at National Bank of Canada, and Vice President, Private Banking at RBC Wealth Management.

Darwin is a graduate of the UBC Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) Program, developed by UBC Sauder’s Business Families Centre, reflecting his commitment to helping families navigate complex wealth decisions with confidence. He also serves as a board member of the Streetohome Foundation and the Work With Us Foundation.
