Chris Nicola

Chris Nicola is Chief Executive Officer of Nicola Wealth, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction alongside the Executive Team and Board of Directors. He is focused on advancing innovation and continuously improving Nicola Wealth’s industry-leading client experience.

Chris brings a distinctive combination of entrepreneurial, financial, technological, and leadership experience. As the Co-Founder of WealthBar, one of Canada’s pioneering digital wealth managers, he has long advocated for the thoughtful design of technology to enhance the client experience. In recognition of his entrepreneurial leadership, Chris was named one of Business in Vancouver’s Forty Under 40 in 2018. As CEO of Nicola Wealth, he is working to expand the firm’s digital capabilities while preserving the highly personalized approach clients have valued for more than three decades.

“Share the Pie” is a core value that shapes Chris’s leadership and philanthropic work. He is deeply committed to giving back to the community that supported and mentored him, with a focus on supporting Canadian entrepreneurs and fostering innovation. Through the Nicola Family Foundation, he is also actively involved in strengthening local initiatives and supporting organizations that uplift vulnerable populations.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Queen’s University. He serves on multiple boards and is the Founder and former President of the Polyglot Software Association.
