Anne-Marie Thomas

Anne-Marie Thomas has guided and contributed to the growth of organizations across many industries. Board experience includes roles as chair of Audit, Risk, Governance and Investment Committees and Board vice chair. Currently, Anne-Marie is an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair for Nicola, member of the Strategic Advisory Council of Longhouse Capital Partners, and Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair of Pizza Pizza Royalty Corp.

Anne-Marie’s capital markets operating experience in the pension and investment industries includes leadership positions in the private and public sectors. Thomas led strategy development and renewed pension governance and risk management systems. She also served as investment consultant to a preeminent Canadian university providing support and advice on pension and endowment portfolio matters.

Anne-Marie earned the Chartered Financial Analyst charter, MBA from Ivey Business School, BBA from the University of Iowa, Chartered Director and Audit Committee Certified designations from The Directors College, ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and certification from the Innovation Governance Program. In the community, Anne-Marie enjoys volunteering with and is a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity.
