Sean Oye, Portfolio Manager, Public Assets

Sean joined Nicola Wealth in August 2006. He brings with him over 20 years of experience working in the mutual fund, insurance, and banking industries; he also has experience working in the technology field as a technical analyst.

Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (honours) from Thompson Rivers University and also holds both the CFP and CFA designations.

At Nicola Wealth, Sean primarily spends most of his time actively engaged in analyzing both Canadian & U.S. equities; he is also the co-manager and trader of two of our Nicola Wealth Funds that extensively use derivative strategies.

Other Nicola Wealth Funds he is co-managing: Nicola Canadian Tactical High Income Fund, Nicola U.S. Tactical High Income Fund, Nicola Global Bond Fund and Nicola Global Equity Fund.

Kazuki Nohdomi, Portfolio Manager, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Nicola Wealth

Kazuki is a highly experienced Portfolio Manager with over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Currently, Kazuki serves as Portfolio Manager, Private Equity and Venture Capital at Nicola Wealth.

Before joining Nicola Wealth, Kazuki worked as a Principal at a leading boutique investment bank and risk capital firm, specializing in the small to mid-market segment and early stage risk capital investments. Prior to this, Kazuki worked at a leading financial services organization, as an Equity Research Analyst and Sector Portfolio Manager. During his six years at TIAA-CREF, Kazuki managed multi-sector Japan and Asia-Pacific portfolios and provided valuable insights on equity investments.

Kazuki holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business.
