Squamish, B.C., March 3, 2023 – Nicola Wealth Real Estate (NWRE) has recently announced the expansion of its Advanced Self Storage property in Squamish, B.C., to meet the growing demand of the community. NWRE currently operates eight Advanced Self Storage locations in British Columbia and is expanding its existing facility in Squamish with a new 70,000-sqft storage building.  The Advanced Self Storage Squamish facility currently offers a total of 137,000 square feet of storage space and is expanding to meet the needs of the town's growing population. With the new expansion, the facility will provide an additional 70,000 square feet of storage space for residents and businesses in the area.  "Our goal is to provide the Squamish community with a comprehensive solution for residents and businesses looking to store their belongings in a secure, modern, and climate-controlled environment," says Mark Hannah, Managing Director, Nicola Wealth Real Estate. "The new facility will match the current structure in appearance and amenities, with three commercial offices for the Squamish business community."  According to PJ Juneja, Director of Advanced Storage, the new facility will be customized to meet the specific preferences of tenants. "Our commercial storage tenants typically prefer first-floor units with drive-up access for convenience, while our residential tenants are satisfied with affordable second-floor units," he said. "The facility is also well-equipped with value-add amenities in order to provide an exceptional experience for customers."  Self-storage continues to be a key strategy for Nicola Wealth Real Estate. With a strong presence in major Canadian markets such as Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Winnipeg, Kelowna, and Victoria, NWRE is focused on acquiring income-producing properties and executing development and value-add strategies that align with its long-term growth objectives.
