Timothy joined Nicola Wealth in 2017, with over 20 years of financial, media and public relations experience. As head of Marketing for the firm, Timothy oversees the strategic vision, operations and growth of the marketing team.
A graduate of Simon Fraser University, he started his career as a foreign correspondent in Asia covering a market that was still making a tentative comeback after the Asian financial crisis.
In 2008, Timothy joined what was then Barclays Capital following its merger with Lehman Bros. As Head of Corporate Communications for Asia Pacific, he was responsible for building out the brand of the bank’s Asia Pacific franchise, where he oversaw all strategic corporate relations for Barclays PLC businesses across the region, including Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Wealth Management. In 2015, he was recognized in PR Week’s Power Book, which names that publication’s list of the most influential PR professionals around the world.
