Spencer joined the Toronto office as a Wealth Planning Associate in 2021.
Spencer grew up in Mississauga and is a University of Guelph graduate in Economics and Finance.
He is passionate about fintech and financial planning and most recently obtained his Python professional certification. Most recently, Spencer was a Wealth Management Coordinator at Tacita Capital where he worked within a boutique UHNW family office servicing clients with a minimum of $10M AUM. He was the client’s first point of contact and his primary duties were servicing client requests, preparing dynamic reports and analyzing portfolios by way of MorningStar and Excel VBA analytics. One of his biggest accomplishments was building from scratch a master client database in Excel tracking all of Tacita’s client information and keynotes, which the firm still utilizes daily. If asked, his former colleagues would describe him as always wearing the ‘client first’ hat, having impeccable communication skills and being extremely detail-oriented. Spencer’s analytical and client-centric skillset was first fostered in his prior positions as a Customer Services Associate at BMO and Product Analyst at Mackenzie Investments when he first started in the industry.
Spencer brings with him an entrepreneurial, team-focused, and ambitious mindset with the ultimate goal of becoming a Financial Advisor.
When he is not at work, Spencer is an avid golfer and enjoys cycling.
Ski chalet and beach house.
