Rob Edel is Nicola Wealth’s Chief Investment Officer, Public Markets, leading a team of Portfolio Managers and playing a key role in the firm’s investment decisions.
A dedicated Investment Manager, Rob has an extensive background in Investment Management, working at Nicola Wealth for almost 20 years. Before joining Nicola Wealth, Rob worked at some of Canada’s largest financial institutions as a member of their investment teams, including as a Portfolio Manager responsible for managing U.S. equities for the firm’s high-net-worth clients.
Rob holds a degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia and has completed the Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Canadian Options certifications. He is also member of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR). When not in the office you can find Rob playing tennis, squash or golf.
