Wealth Planning Associate
Bringing a philosophy of honesty and accountability to his role, Philip joined Nicola Wealth in August 2022 with over seven years of experience in wealth management.
Prior to joining Nicola, Philip developed his sense of urgency at a Vancouver-based hedge fund. Most recently, Philip developed a sense of purpose when working for a high-performing financial planning firm which promoted teaching financial literacy and provided pro-bono services to disadvantaged women and new immigrants. He looks to combine these senses to produce the highest quality service at Nicola for his team and clients.
A graduate of The University of British Columbia, Philip completed his Bachelor of Arts, Mathematics and Economics. During his studies, Philip was a first and second-year UBC mathematics tutor and a member of the CFA Society – Vancouver, the Chinese Varsity Club, the Chinese Students Association, the UBC Accounting Club and the UBC Finance Club.
Outside of work, Philip is an avid sportsman, gardener and hobbyist. He is passionate about cultivating growth in himself, friends, family, and teammates and believes that all things are connected.
