Paul joined Nicola Wealth in 2017, bringing with him over ten years of experience providing comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management advice.
With a keen interest in problem solving and understanding a client’s specific situation (from their financial position to their family dynamics and ambitions), he is able to advise clients in order to help them achieve their goals.
Having completed numerous Canadian Securities Institute courses, Paul has been granted the CIM and FMA designations and is licensed with the BC Insurance Council. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Paul was involved in the management of two business’ in the lower mainland and completed the Business Program at Kwantlen. This allows him to relate well with business owners, taking what can be complex situations and providing step by step recommendations in collaboration with various other professionals.
Paul and his wife Sonja live in Vancouver and have three young children. Between all the swimming lessons and soccer, they enjoy hosting friends and family for meals (most often barbequed, even in the middle of winter!). The family is passionate about giving back, both locally and overseas and are involved with various organizations in different capacities.
