Brad is Portfolio Manager & Head of International Equities at Nicola Wealth, where he manages the Nicola Global Small-Cap Fund and the Nicola International Leaders Fund.

Brad Radin is a seasoned investor with nearly 30 years of global public equity experience. Brad has led investment teams that have sourced, analyzed, evaluated, purchased, monitored, and harvested public equity investments in hundreds of undervalued companies in more than 30 countries. Through bull and bear markets, it has been Brad’s privilege to help others grow their money.

Before joining Nicola in 2022, Brad was the Founder of Radin Capital Partners for eleven years. The firm was dedicated to international value investing and served clients that included two of the five largest pension plans in the United States. Prior to starting his previous firm, Brad worked at Templeton Investment Management from 1995 to 2011. At Templeton, Brad was Executive Vice President, Head of the Global Small-Cap Group and Portfolio Manager. Brad began his investment career by analyzing Asian companies at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong. Brad has also worked briefly in Taipei and Moscow and has travelled to nearly 50 countries.

Mr. Radin has been recognized with a Lipper Award and a Morningstar Canadian Investment Award. Brad managed the Templeton Global Smaller Companies Fund for over eleven years, a period during which it outperformed the S&P 500 index by more than 10% per year on average. The fund became the largest mutual fund in its category nationally. Brad’s media appearances have included the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Globe & Mail, National Post, Value Investor Insight, as well as BNN/Bloomberg.

Brad’s community volunteer involvement includes serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Havergal College Foundation as well as serving on the Board of Governors of Havergal College. Brad is a CFA charter holder and earned three degrees from Western University in Canada: a BSc, an HBA (Ivey) and an MBA (Ivey). Brad lives in Toronto with his wife and their three children.
