Brad is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and has completed all three levels of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) In-Depth Tax Course and also obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance and Accounting) from the University of British Columbia and is presently working on his Securities and Insurance licenses.
Brad spent the last four years working for Canada’s largest bank-owned wealth management firm providing tax recommendations on compensation planning, corporate restructuring, succession and philanthropic planning with high net worth clients and ultra-high net worth clients. Previously, Brad had nearly ten years of experience as a tax professional with two of “The Big 4” accounting firms where he specialized in tax and estate planning and compliance for private owner-managed entities. In public practice, he had a wide range of experience that also included mergers and acquisitions.
Brad was a member of the UBC Football team that won the 1997 Vanier Cup and was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in 2000. Brad and his wife have three daughters that are aspiring Irish Dancers. Outside of the office, he can be found driving his kids to their many activities or playing ball hockey.
