Culture has always been at the heart of how we work and how we support our clients. We are honoured to share that Nicola Wealth has been recognized once again as one of Canada’s Most Admired™ Corporate Cultures for the fourth time and will be inducted into the program’s Hall of Fame. The program recognizes organizations with strong and consistent culture and people practices, which remain a priority for our firm.
For us, culture is not a statement or a campaign. It shows up in how we work together, make decisions, and support our clients, our people, and our communities. We strive to create an environment where expectations are clear, people feel valued and supported in their growth, and teamwork is embedded in how we operate. Our values guide this approach: we are Driven, Collaborative, Caring, Innovative, and committed to Sharing the Pie.
At Nicola Wealth, clients are supported by a team, not one individual. This approach is intentional and reflects our commitment to continuity, shared accountability, and long-term planning. With diverse skill sets, collaborative decision-making, and consistent information sharing across the firm, we ensure clients receive thoughtful and reliable support throughout their wealth journey. The trust this creates shows up in meaningful ways. Four out of five new client relationships begin with a referral from an existing client or professional partner.
Reflecting on the recognition, Chief People Officer Eric Bulmash shared:
“This award reflects our firm’s deep commitment to our values and our culture. What makes Nicola Wealth such a special place to work is the way every team member chooses to live our values each day—how we show up, collaborate, and continually bring our culture to life in support of our clients and communities. We are incredibly grateful for this recognition and for the dedication our people bring to making our firm, and our culture, what it is.”
We are appreciative of this acknowledgement and remain committed to strengthening a culture that supports thoughtful work, meaningful relationships, and dependable support for clients and colleagues.
Thank you to our employees for the work they do every day, and to our clients for their continued trust.
Methodology
Canadian organizations can be nominated, or self-nominate, to the program. Canadian or Canadian subsidiary organizations, either privately-held or publicly-traded, are eligible. These organizations must have a minimum of $5 million in revenue and over 25 employees and a head office, or a subsidiary office, in Canada. Canadian not-for-profit organizations are also eligible. There is no cost to participate in Canada’s Most Admired™ Corporate Cultures nomination or submission process. Once nominated, candidate organizations are asked to make a detailed submission to the program that speaks to their corporate culture. Review and voting on the submissions is done by the Canada’s Most Admired™ Corporate Cultures Board of Governors. The Board is made up of leaders of past winning organizations. They are experts in knowing what makes a great corporate culture and leading organizations that exemplify winning cultures.
