As the markets fluctuate and many lose their jobs, one’s relationship with money comes to the forefront. Host Mark Therriault speaks with Chantel Chapman, founder of What the Finances and Co-Founder of Trauma of Money to discuss her approach to mindful money management, a mix between psychology and financial literacy that helps improve her clients relationships with their finances in a deeper way.
In this discussion they talk about Chantel’s journey as an entrepreneur and what mindful money guidance really is. They discuss how past psychological trauma or even just past experiences with money affect individuals, the six pillars that affect one’s relationship with money and how addressing those along with financial literacy can change how you live your life.
Chantel Chapman is known for her edgy, relatable and intelligent mindful money guidance. She draws from her experience spending 14 years as a mortgage broker, 10 years as a financial literacy consultant, and her extensive research in addiction and mindfulness.
Chantel is the host of the nationally recognized Adulting 101 event series, and focuses her work on exploring the ties between addiction and money to help people heal, grow, and strengthen their relationship with their bank accounts.
